JM Creative bespoke business cards and stationery

The 3 types of Business cards – and what they say about you!

Imagine having met a prospective client and it has gone really well. They than ask you for a business card and you pull out a cheap, flimsy piece of card with your logo on it. You then see the disappointment on their face and you fear all your hard work has been undone.

A business card, and all your business stationery says a lot more about you and your company than just a name and a few contact details. It tells your clients the type of business you are, how much you value your business and the quality of service you provide.

There is a lot of choice when it comes to choosing your business card and stationery. Getting it right can really benefit your company. Getting it wrong and you could effectively be pushing your customers towards your competitors.

What does your business cards and stationery say about you?

The Cheap
These are basic flimsy cards, usually from online printers, and normally only printed on one side. You select a predefined design and just add your own details. They are cheap and fast and good if you are on a very tight budget, but you do get what you pay for in the end. Not the look for an upmarket or an established company, Or if you want to get ahead of the competition.
Is this where you value your business and service, or where you want to be seen?

The Professional
Luxury Business cards, professionally designed on good stock paper with a nice finish. Matt Lamination is a great choice of finish leaving a smooth matt look to both sides, with a professional looking finish and a nice feel in the hand.
These are a big step up in quality but not always in price and really can speak volumes and help you stand out when you hand it to a prospective client.

The Bespoke
This is where it gets really interesting and creative. These types of cards are completely bespoke and can really help you stand out from the crowd. Using different card or unusual materials or shapes can give them a real edge and a special feel. Even a different finish like a spot UV or embossing can put you in a different league to your competitors and show that you really value your company and your customers, and really pride yourself on your service.
